2. Data We Collect

We collect personal data only when you provide it to us. This includes: (a) Contact enquiries — name, email address, phone number and message content when you use our contact form or contact us directly; (b) Reservations — name, contact details and payment information when you make a booking. Payment processing is handled securely by Paraty and we do not store full card details.

3. Purpose & Legal Basis

Contact enquiries: to respond to your message — legal basis: legitimate interest. Reservations: to manage your booking and provide the contracted service — legal basis: performance of a contract. Marketing communications: only sent with your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

4. Data Retention

Contact enquiry data is retained for 12 months from the date of your enquiry. Reservation data is retained for 5 years to comply with Spanish tax and commercial law obligations. Consent records are retained for the duration required by applicable law.

5. Third Parties

We share data only where necessary: Paraty (booking engine) processes reservation data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. TripAdvisor and Google Maps operate their own independent services on this site — please refer to their respective privacy policies. We do not sell personal data to any third party.

6. International Transfers

Your data is processed within the European Economic Area. Where any processor operates outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the right to: access your personal data; rectify inaccurate data; request erasure ('right to be forgotten'); restrict or object to processing; data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at reservas@palmbeachclub.com. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.
